  What is iridology (pronounced eye-ri-dology)?
Many people today are talking about how we can see our level of health through looking at our eyes. This brief explanation will serve as an introduction to iridology. The science and practice of iridology is performed by analyzing the iris ( coloured section of the eye) and the pupil.

The iris is the most complex external structure of the human anatomy. It is connected to every organ and tissue of the body by way of the nervous system. Through the optic nerves, which are attached to the eyes, vision information is sent to the brain. At the same time information is sent back to the eyes from the brain about your overall level of health.

Iridology reveals the level of health and the presence of tissue inflamation in the body, where it located and what stage it has reached- acute, sub-acute, chronic or degenerative. The iris reveals the level of constitutional strength, inherent weaknesses and the transitions that take place in a person’s organs and tissues according to the way they eat, drink, feel, and live.

Iridology is not new. The first recorded sources of iris analysis reach as far back as 1,000 BC in ancient China. In the year 1670, the physician Meyens, in his book “Physiognomia Medica ”, described the organ division of the iris according to body regions. The Viennese ophthalmologist Beer was unaware of these old views on iris analysis. Yet, in his publication of 1813, “Textbook of Eye Disease ”, he wrote, ”Everything that affects the organism of an individual cannot remain without effect on the eye and vice versa”.

A Hungarian, Dr. Ignaz von pecezely, published a book in 1880 entitled, “discovery in Natural History and Medical Science ,a guide to the Study and Diagnosis from the eye”. This book achieved and international renown and he is considered the father of modern iridology.

Today in the 20th century, doctors and scientists from the United States(Dr. Bernard Jensen) and Germany(Dr.Josef Deck) have brought iridology into worldwide recognition.

The actual fibre structures and various colours we see in the iris tell us about the level of physical health and constitutional strength of our body.
These features also relate to personality traits as well as conscious and subconscious though / emotional patterns.

Each eye gives us different information. The left eye correlates with the left side of our body and the right eye to the right side of our body. Iridology provides a non-invasive, painless and economical means of looking into the body. It may be utilized in conjunction with any other system of analysis or diagnosis available. Today, people are in need of preventative health care and less complex methods on analysing their condition. Iridology holds a key to both these situations.

Iris analysis is done by photographing both eyes with a specialized camera. The photographs are enlarged and carefully examined by a qualified and experienced iridologist.

All clinical work is performed with the latest equipment, the highest skills and skills and standards. This advanced approach to iridology encompasses various systems that are integrated into a holistic model.

This report is a comprehensive record of your iris analysis. Your photographs, observations, advice and prescriptive medications are recorded here for your information and health management. Please call the clinic if you have any further queries or concerns.

Iridology is the study of the iris of the eye ( the colored ring),that reveals information about the body’s constitutional strengths and weaknesses, levels of inflammation and toxaemia, functioning of
organs, eliminative and body systems and causes of symptoms and diseasess. There is no other diagnosis available today that is as simple, inexpensive and non-invasive as Iridology.

Some Cases:

Arcus Senilis: Suggests a lack of function in the brain. It is a sign that is associated with the onset of old age .Major brain functions may be failing, such as perception and memory.
Look for: In the head area, and arc like a hat sitting on the iris .
Generally whitish in color.

Underacid Stomach
: Suggests insufficient hydrochloric acid in the stomach .This may results in protein and sodium deficiencies .The darker the ring, the more acute the condition.

Look for: A ring around the pupil clearly defining the stomach zone.
Appearance is darker in color than over acid stomach .

Overacid stomach
